Bio-Ring®

The Bio-Ring® by Century is the perfect solution when replacing rock beds in wastewater treatment facilities using aerobic trickling.  The Bio-Ring® features a ribbed exterior surface and internal webbing.  This yields much greater amounts of surface area than solid rock beds can provide.  In addition, the large void space and hexagonal windows provide superior capacity to rock beds.  Bio-Rings® may also be used in anaerobic treatment processes.

Bio-Rings® may be ordered in unweighted polypropylene or weighted polypropylene to give a specific gravity of greater or less than 1.0.  They are also available in polyethylene.  Stacked beds of 20 to 30 feet high have been used due to the Bio-Ring's® light yet extremely strong design.
